A Collection Expansion + New Showroom Gives Debra Folz Lots To Celebrate
Debra Folz opens a showroom in the Hamptons + debuts 3 new versions of the most popular pieces in the Ribbon Collection to celebrate.
Two exciting things are happening for Debra Folz: the opening of a showroom in the Hamptons and the debut of three new versions of the most popular pieces in the Ribbon Collection to celebrate. Let’s talk about the expansion of the Ribbon Collection first, a series that’s known by its cast bronze hardware that resembles actual ribbons. The three new pieces ? the Ribbon Drawer with Mirror, the Ribbon Console with Mirror and Two Drawers, and the Ribbon Vanity with Mirror and Two Drawers ? continue the series’ ability to beautifully translate textiles and soft surfaces into compelling furniture forms. Ribbon Drawer with Mirror
Debra Folz’s new Hamptons showroom creates a wonderful palette on which to showcase all of the collections, as well as pieces that haven’t made their way to the website yet. She’s taken advantage of the 15-foot high ceilings as well, inviting Asher Dunn of Studio Dunn to showcase his Sorenthia lighting collection. You can currently visit at 108 Main Street (side entrance) Westhampton, New York 11978.
I am enjoying the freedom to create a specific environment for my work, and the ability to more immediately share new work and experiments, as well as to work from this space and engage clients in my process that has otherwise happened behind studio doors.
