studio MOTO Is Letting You Stack up Your Furniture
Belgian-based studio MOTO debuts its first ever furniture collection, STACK, a modular furniture system that puts you in the designer's seat.
Finding the right sized furniture for your home can feel like a never-ending search. There?s also the challenge of trying to future-proof your furnishings in case of a move or a change in the needs of your space. Belgium-based studio MOTO, founded by Thomas Hick and Mo Vanderberghe, alleviates these pain points with their debut furniture collection, STACK. The modular system puts you in the designer’s seat to create your own bespoke tables and shelves using a virtual configurator.
STACK comprises 14 components: three vertical connectors, three circles, three squares, and five rectangular shelves. These parts allow you to create infinite configurations, like a multi-level shelf with dividers or a round coffee table using the circular plates. The system is also essentially foolproof as STACK doesn?t require any screws or tools; it simply clicks together like a 3D puzzle.
The pieces are all made out of aluminum ? a material chosen for its strength, lightness, and timelessness ? and are available in six different colors: Raw Aluminum, Granite Grey, Patina Green, Zinc Yellow, Peach Pink, and Night Blue. Whether you decide to combine multiple colors to create a playful shelf or go monochromatic for a neutral space, there are endless ways to build and color your own bespoke pieces.
