After a meticulous two-year revitalization, JBG Smith and North America Sekisui House LLC have completed their restoration of the iconic Wardman Tower. The renovation reveals 32 rare two- to four-bedroom homes ranging from 2,200-4,600 square feet, 12 of which have been sold or are under contract. Designed by New York architecture firm Deborah Berke Partners, the renovated space pays tribute to the opulence of mid-century Paris while adding an open and contemporary feel. Prices range from $2.5 – $9 million.
Once home to Dwight D. Eisenhower, Lyndon B. Johnson, Herbert Hoover, and Marlene Dietrich, the nine-story, historic building resting at the corner of Connecticut Avenue and Woodley Road, NW was built in 1928 by famed developer Harry Wardman. He partnered with Mihran Mesrobian to design the building, an architect also known for designing the Hay Adams Hotel and the St. Regis Hotel in Washington D.C. Recognized for its distinctive architectural style, the Wardman Tower, a Georgian Revival building, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
