Illusory Infinite Staircase by Leandro Erlich
Following on from his previous “Staircase” series, in which the viewer’s sensory perceptions are distorted by variations of illusory installations, the Argentine conceptual artist Leandro Erlich has created a new installation: “Infinite Staircase” at the KAMU Kanazawa Museum of Contemporary Art in Japan. This piece is part of the group exhibition “The Power of Things”. This new work is one of many installations by Leandro Erlich that seem to defy the laws of gravity by distorting the everyday function of a staircase.
