Designing a Dream Home: An Architect’s Personal Challenge and Opportunity
Tapan Shah, principal-architect at Studionine, Ahmedabad, embraced the unique challenge and opportunity of designing his own home. His vision and enthusiasm transformed a 1200 sq.ft (111.5 sq.m) top-floor apartment overlooking Ahmedabad city’s growing skyline into a comfortable haven for his family of three. A Child-Friendly Playroom with Transparent Walls
The architect made a few modifications to the original layout, opening up the third bedroom adjacent to the living room and terrace. Transparent walls now enclose this space, creating a delightful playroom for their child.
Natural Light and a Soothing Color Palette
