Vintage Spring Kitchen
It’s springtime in the kitchen, which is the perfect time to pull out some of my favorite vintage kitchen pieces and have some fun! Today I’m joining some awesome friends on a blog hop of our spring spaces hosted by Krista from The Happy Housie. Check out the entire lineup at the bottom of this post!
I got this adorable Smeg Kettle for Christmas last year, and I’m very sure I’ll never be tired of looking at it! It’s such a cute kitchen appliance, and I love it so much that I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I’ll get the Smeg Espresso Machine for my birthday!
The kettle inspired me to pull out some of my other favorite vintage pieces that I’ve collected over the years for a cute waffle breakfast.
I’ve been keeping my eyes peeled at antique stores for jadeite pieces for years, but the collecting has gone slow. This pretty vintage green tableware is popular and hard to find! I’ve found a few modern reproductions here, here, here and here.
I also used some “swanky swigs” (little vintage glasses) that my grandpa used to collect. He and my grandma had a whole bunch of them in their basement, and I ended up with some of them! Aren’t they cute"!
I just love the springy flowers printed on the side of this cute glassware! I really need to get them out and use them more!
