Inspired by and named for the thick sap that emerges from a tree, Jueki is a stool carved from solid ash wood into a stunning, organic seat. The stool collection, designed in a collaboration between HBF and Jonathan Yoshida Rowell, features legs that seem to gently pull away from the seat. On the underside of each stool you’ll notice the wood grain appears to flow downward for an organic, calming effect that ends in rounded feet.

His way of transforming the abstract into concrete, usable products – like the Jueki stool – injects an artistic sense into his furniture. Jueki’s sculptural, lightweight body ? available in three heights ? works well in both formal and informal settings. Twenty various finishes are available for the stools, as are custom match finishes upon request.
