UK model-maker Evie Bee specializes in traditional woodworking, and was inspired by the iconic Yamaha SR250 ? a lightweight motorcycle designed for off-roading ? when creating the ElectraPly e-bike.
Bee shared, “The design of the bike was inspired by my love for the cafe racer and scrambler motorcycles of the past and the desire to honor and continue this iconic design through a modern interpretation.” Bee’s modern rendition is mindful of the environment and CO2 emissions while also staying true to the original cafe racer’s aesthetic.
