Every other week we?re inviting one of the Design Milk team to share five personal favorites ? an opportunity for each of us to reveal the sort of designs we use and appreciate in our own lives from a more personal perspective. Lifestyle Editor Vy Yang returns this week for our Take 5 series?
1. Artist Anna Kruhelska really caught my eye with her latest wall sculptures made from just plywood and paint. The sculptures have this rhythm and movement that makes you want to keep analyzing it until you realize you have to look away for a second because you?re getting dizzy (No" Just me"). I also love the way she plays with gradients, colors and light.
2. I?m anxiously awaiting the return of fashion designer Phoebe Philo, but since that won?t be until at least January 2022, I?ll have to find my fashion fix elsewhere. I always enjoy being hypnotized by Iris van Herpen?s geometric creations which look as ethereal as they do otherworldly. Seeing them on several different people at the Met Gala this year made me appreciate how they look and move off the runway. I can?t wait to see what she creates next but I?m sure it?s nothing short of incredible.
3. Holiday season is upon us and if you?re anything like me, you?re doing all your shopping before Halloween (I?ve already got the kids? new Christmas pajamas deliver...
