Take 5: Elevated Pool Floats, Un-disposable Cameras, + More
Social Media Consultant Maivy Tran returns for our Take 5 series with cameras made from trash, unique ceramics for your home, and a puzzle for your plants.
Twice a month we?re inviting one of the Design Milk team members to share five personal favorites ? an opportunity for each of us to reveal the sort of designs we love and appreciate in our own lives from a more personal perspective. Social Media Consultant Maivy Tran returns this week for our Take 5 series.
1. Oliver James Lilos x Orlebar Brown and La DoubleJ
Adding these luxurious, inflatable pool floats to the top of my wishlist because 1) they?re stunning, and 2) I can only imagine how comfy they might be. Available in rings, singles, or doubles, I love that they double as sun loungers! While I usually go for something like stripes, this Dragonflower print stands out beautifully. Doesn?t it just scream ?luxury?"!
2. Lailasdotter
I?ve said before that I?m a sucker for checkers, so I immediately fell in love when I came across this lampshade by @lailasdotter. Every piece she creates is carefully hand-painted and shaped using acrylic glass. While they look extremely fragile, they?re almost unbreakable! She?s also got a fun mix of wall art and sculptures available, but what caught my eye second most" Her bowls and, more importantly, their names! (I don’t think I’m allowed to type it out here, so you?ll have to head to her site to see for yourself!)
