Summer Living Room Decor

The kids are out of school, the temperatures are warming up, and we’ve pulled the sunscreen, bug spray, and bathing suits out of the drawers. It must be summer! As I mentioned above, I was craving simplicity this summer. Simple can be so pretty, right"
With the heat of summer, simplicity feels good to me. I’ve chosen to go with mostly neutral color palette with color being brought in with plants,a few pops of terracotta, and the blues in my vintage area rug.
I found the neat framed photograph of the fiddle leaf fig at Hobby Lobby the other week, and it really inspired this whole room. You just never know where your inspiration will come from, am I right" I liked how it tied in with the faux eucalyptus on the other side of the mirror on the mantel.
My coffee table is styled simply with my potted Boston fern and a few wood vases from Hobby Lobby.
