Summer Dining Room
I don’t think any of us have needed summer sunshine and beautiful weather more than we do now. I know I’ve needed my morning walks and evenings on the deck to help me keep a clear head and do a lot of thinking. I think you’ll find that my summer dining room decor reflects my lack of prioritizing over-the-top decorations, and my need to keep things really simple right now. I’m joining many wonderful bloggers on a Summer Home Tour hosted by Marty from A Stroll Thru Life. If you are popping by from Decor to Adore, welcome! Laura’s beautiful home always makes me feel right at home!
You may remember this oversized floral art paper print from my bedroom. I have two of them, and I moved one of them into the dining room to place over our dining room hutch.
You may remember that we normally have our open shelves in our dining room. I did a complete switch-a-roo and switched the hutch (that was in the living room) with the shelves. It was fun to use pieces we already had to create a space that looks and feels so different!
I have a hurricane vase with a candle in it for our centerpiece, which I think is simple and perfect.
As you can see, the shelves are now in the living room where the hutch used to be! See"! A complete switch-a-roo!
It was fun for me to style my shelves for the living room instead of the dining room. I had so many fun pieces, and I didn’t have to buy a thing to restyle them.
