I’ll be sharing my summer dining room today, which is one of my favorite spots in our house to decorate. Â It’s even more fun to decorate when you’ve got some freshly cut pink peonies to work with! Â I actually shot this a few weeks ago when the peonies were still fresh…Now they’re gone, and I’m just waiting for those hydrangea bushes to start blooming! Â Aren’t flowers one of the best parts of summer"
I am especially fond of flowers that I don’t have to work for…Just plant the hydrangea and peony bushes, and boom. Fresh flowers every summer. Â That’s what I’m talking about.
My lack of a green thumb is a bit embarrassing. Â I actually haven’t planted any flowers at all this year. Â I normally plant at least one planter of geraniums and potato vines (or whatever my mom tells me to get) on the deck, but this year…nope. Â Nothing. Â And I don’t really have any plans to change that.
