I’ll be sharing my summer dining room today, which is one of my favorite spots in our house to decorate. It’s even more fun to decorate when you’ve got some freshly cut pink peonies to work with! I actually shot this a few weeks ago when the peonies were still fresh…Now they’re gone, and I’m just waiting for those hydrangea bushes to start blooming! Aren’t flowers one of the best parts of summer"
I am especially fond of flowers that I don’t have to work for…Just plant the hydrangea and peony bushes, and boom. Fresh flowers every summer. That’s what I’m talking about.
My lack of a green thumb is a bit embarrassing. I actually haven’t planted any flowers at all this year. I normally plant at least one planter of geraniums and potato vines (or whatever my mom tells me to get) on the deck, but this year…nope. Nothing. And I don’t really have any plans to change that.
