If someone does not correct this cold, icy, snowy weather immediately, I might lose my mind. School keeps getting cancelled, and keeping my kid away from screens feels like a full-time job. We’ve made bath bombs, colored pictures, put together puzzles, made perler bead creations. We’ve done it all, guys. Today I’m going to focus on a brighter side of winter though, our winter living room. I love the way our bright and simple winter living room looks, so let’s check it out!
Bright and Simple Winter Living Room
Right after Christmas, I picked up this framed abstract wall art from Target. It is the perfect piece for above the fireplace, and it ties in so perfectly with my deep teal pillows .
After the holidays, the house feels decidedly different. This year I embraced the clean and simple, “less is more” look for a post-holiday winter living room. I wanted pops of pretty teals and greens against the neutral walls, rugs, and couches.
I’ve been spending so much time in here the last few months. I broke my ankle on the day after Christmas, so these couches have been home base!
