MV Apartment by Carlos Segarra
The major theme of this apartment renovation was 'time,' and its effects on the interior and the life of the family from within the home.
MV Apartment is a minimalist apartment located in Valencia, Spain, designed by Carlos Segarra. The major theme of the project was ‘time,’ and its effects on the interior and the life of the family from within the home.
The architects opted for a small change that would in turn have a great impact on the distribution of the home. The designers decided to combine the kitchen and living room into a single living space in an effort to improve the interaction between the residents. Segarra chose materials that would evoke a sense of comfort, as well as create delineations between the spaces, hence the predominating wood accents and warm tones in combination with white and an abundant amount of natural light.
