Mustard Made?s The Ledge Shelf Complements Its Retro Lockers Perfectly

Mustard Made makes its second foray into standalone designs with The Ledge wall shelf, a colorful statement on even the blankest of walls.

If there?s one thing Mustard Made does exceptionally well, it?s transforming everyday storage solutions into a parade of color and joy. Founded by sister duo Becca and Jess Stern (who live on opposite ends of the world in Australia and the United Kingdom, respectively), the brand started with a simple yet personal question: What is it that you love that is uniquely you" For Becca, it was lockers ? yes, the kind you?d find in a high school hallway ? rescued from roadside pickups and dusty antique stores. In 2017, the sisters breathed new life into these classic storage staples, revamping them with a curated palette that took them from institutional to inspirational. No longer relegated to school corridors, these retro lockers have found a new calling as nightstands, playroom essentials, living room consoles, and more.
Fast forward seven years, and Mustard Made has just launched something new and exciting: The Ledge. While the brand has dabbled in accessories like baskets, magnetic letters, hangers, and extra shelves for their iconic lockers, The Ledge marks their second foray into standalone furniture after the original locker line.
