Today I’ll be sharing my holiday kitchen and dining room!
This truly is the best time of year, don’t you think" And there’s really nowhere else I’d rather be this time of year than home. I love being home. The older I get, the more home-bodied I get. My life motto seems to be, “Why would I leave" I just want to be here.”
This year’s holiday decor follows a similar aesthetic that I seem to return to year after year. I like cozy plaids, vintage pieces, bright pops of red, and my go-to color: blue.
When I set up my kitchen for my holiday home tour, I knew I wanted to stage it for a meal. So, I popped some waffles in the toaster and covered them with fresh fruit and powdered sugar. My husband’s jaw nearly dropped to the floor when he saw what I was up to…You see, I am not much of a cook, and I rarely actually make breakfast, so to see that I could actually make a toaster waffle came as a complete shock to him.
