Felix Armchair by Christian Vivanco for Los Patrones
A modern indoor/outdoor armchair designed with a bold pergola.
Presented just last week in Mexico City during Caravana Americana, Felix is Christian Vivanco’s latest collaboration with Los Patrones. The contemporary armchair is designed to work both indoors and outdoors and features a bold pergola that visually separates you from the outer world without interfering with sight lines.
The pergola is composed of two uneven arches that are connected with dozens of cross bars for visual impact. Felix’s design was inspired by Mexican architecture of the 1950s, where paraboloid structures and arches were prominent. Vivanco brings that bit of history to the forefront in this modern chair, helping to contribute to the Mexican design community through this partnership with a Mexican company.
