Eskayel?s Forma Textile Collection Explores How Lines Shape Feelings
Eskayel?s new collection of 5 wallpaper + fabric patterns are based on original artworks that evoke emotion and experience using lines and shapes.
Eskayel?s founder and creative director, Shanan Campanaro, is once again leaning into her artist background to create the brand?s first collection of the year, Forma. Campanaro, who holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts in London, knows a universal truth about art ? that a line becomes a shape and a shape in multitudes is able to convey a feeling. This is the theme of Forma, which consists of five new wallpaper and fabric patterns that are all based on original artwork by Campanaro.
Cascade in Lapis
Cascade is able to evoke the feeling of vertical motion, specifically that of tumbling water. Especially in the Lapis colorway, the pattern replicates the energy and sight of cascading water so well that you can almost hear the rolling sounds of the referenced experience.
