At the heart of the vibrant neighborhood of Botafogo, the Yoo2 Rio de Janeiro hotel makes a case for staying indoors to enjoy your beach vacation. The Yoo2 hospitality collective is part of the overarching YOO Hotels and Resorts created by renowned French designer Philippe Starck and entrepreneur John Hitchcox. The interiors of the 12-story Yoo2 Rio De Janeiro is a collaborative effort between YOO Studio and Brazilian designer Melina Romano. Lush greenery, bright colors, and graphic prints bring a sense of contemporary design with a retro Brazilian aesthetic to the hotel. Romano also tapped on young and local talents to create custom designed furniture and art for the guest spaces. The roster includes Ana Nuete, Leo Romano, Marcus Ferreira, Rodrigo Ferreira, Marcelo Ment, and Marcelo Rosenbaum.
Guests can enjoy expansive views of of Guanabara Bay, Sugar Loaf Mountain, and the iconic Christ the Redeemer sculpture from the comforts of their own room.
