We’ve long been fans of Emeco and their commitment to using recycled aluminum for its strength and ability to be repurposed into something else time and time again instead of letting it pile up in a landfill somewhere. Utilizing the brand’s go-to recycled aluminum, Jasper Morrison launches the 1 Inch Collection of chairs, armchairs, stools, and tables that benefit from the material’s durability and sustainability.
The simple designs are lightweight, environmentally friendly, and utilitarian making them a practical choice for most any residential or commercial application. The square aluminum tube frames are paired with 100% recycled wood polypropylene seats and backs in Blue, Bordeaux, Brown, Dark Grey, Green, Light Grey, and Ochre, as well as versions in Ash and Walnut plywood, which are sourced from sustainable North American forests. There are also upholstered options available in various fabrics and leathers.
