DIY Halloween Centerpiece
I am a fickle Halloween decorator. I find myself wanting to get a little Halloweenie, but not over the top. It kind of feels like I’m storing up my decorating energy for the holidays, and I just don’t want to over exert myself for Halloween. So, I guess this could by the DIY Halloween Centerpiece for the lazy Halloween decorator.
Yup, that’s the perfect description. Let’s go with it.
DIY Halloween Centerpiece For the Lazy Halloween Decorator
To create my spooky centerpiece, I snipped some hydrangeas from our back yard. They fill big wooden bowl nicely and go with my neutral/pinkish fall decor.
First, I added little skeleton heads to the centerpiece. I just kind of tucked them in between the hydrangea blooms.
Then, I added little plastic spiders on top of the hydrangeas. I tried to make it look like they were crawling on the flowers.
Anytime I want to add a little pizzazz to a vignette or centerpiece, I add fairy lights. It’s especially fun to turn them on in the evening, which lights up the whole DIY Halloween Centerpiece and adds a fun ambiance to our eating area.
I think the whole thing looks so cute, and best of all, it was SO easy!
I added a few votives, velvet pumpkins, and pinkish pumpkins to either side of the centerpiece.
…and that’s pretty much it! Easy, peasy!
Are you going all out for Halloween decorating" Or are you lazy-decorating like me"
