Classic Design: Flanking a Fireplace with Accent Chairs
Not to brag, but I consider myself a researcher. Because when you’re a blogger, you get to call spending hours combing Pinterest and searching the internet for accent chairs, “research.”

We recently got two new couches in the living room. I love them, and I’m so glad we finally got to make the upgrade. (Pictures coming soon.) But, have you ever noticed how adding new pieces (especially really large pieces like couches) to a room can suddenly kind of throw things off kilter" As soon as we got the couches, I started moving other pieces around and switching it up…and now I have two empty spots in the living room.
Case in point:
Since we’ve gotten the new couches, I’ve decided to move our TV console to a different wall, which now leaves a giant empty space in the living room. I’ve been thinking about my options, and the way I see it, I have only one: Get matching accent chairs for either side of the fireplace. Why do my solutions always involve spending more money"! And that brings me to the point of this post, which is to share with you my “research.” I love the classic look of a fireplace with a chair on either side of it.
Here is some gorgeous inspiration that I found:
