Bright Spring Dining Room and Tablescape
Happy Friday, friends! We made it to the end of a cold, snowy week here in Indiana, and I am feeling so done with winter! Are you with me"! Today, I am joining a fabulous group of bloggers, hosted by Bre from Rooms for Rent, as we share our spring-inspired tablescapes! Creating tablescapes is one of my very favorite parts of decorating my home. I love to switch up our tabletop and create mini masterpieces on top of it…ha!
Bright Spring Dinner Room and Tablescape
This spring tablescape really began and centers around this potted fern plant. It’s green, it’s leafy, and it just looks like spring in a pot, doesn’t it"
I placed the fern (as evidenced in the photo above…haha!) on some blue antique books. I use antique books all over my house to add color, height, and texture to vignettes, and my tabletop is no different.
Next, I added brass terrariums to either side of the fern and filled them with whimsical fairy lights.
It’s really a pretty simple arrangement in the center of my table.
I wanted to create something special and unique for each place setting. Something cute and springy…
…so I placed a little faux egg inside a leafy napkin ring, and the result is this adorable little nested egg resting on the striped napkin. Both the eggs and the napkin rings are from Hobby Lobby.
