For us, that meant asking us questions like ?light or medium roast? and then ensuring our desired style of coffee magically appeared on arrival. Armed with a key code to the apartment and an impressively curated city concierge that came in the form of a binder, a stay at Lokal Hotel feels more like a visit to your Philadelphian pied-à-terre complete with all your creature comforts, than it does a standard hotel stay.
Jersey Ice Cream Co., the design minds behind Lokal Hotel have carefully crafted a Scandinavian mid-century meets industrial vibe in the six apartment suites. Guests can enjoy the fruits of what must have involved plenty of trips to flea markets and garage sales to hand-pick vintage gems like the leather chairs, rugs and magazine stands thoughtfully placed around the suites. Not forgotten are a host of modern creature comforts like a Sonos sound system, Apple TV, luxurious bed sheets from Parachute, an enormous rain shower complete with locally sourced Duross and Langel products, plus a bar cart with everything you need (including a recipe book!) to host cocktail hour at the apartment.
