Anglepoise Invites Paul Smith Back for a Fourth Collection
Anglepoise teams up with Paul Smith to launch their Edition Four lighting collaboration inspired by colors in the British countryside.
British lighting brand Anglepoise® has once again teamed up with designer Paul Smith to launch their fourth collaboration together. Inspired by the color blocked design he previously created for a one-of-a-kind Land Rover Defender, Edition Four revisits the same palette to reimagine lamps from the Type 75 collection originally designed by Sir Kenneth Grange.
Smith developed a 27-color palette for the Defender collaboration, paying homage to the vehicle’s multipurpose dependability. For the rich Edition Four palette, he references colors found in the British countryside, like earthy burgundy, leaden grey, sky blue, dappled green, and rich clay, which are topped off with a surprise punch of fluorescent yellow near the base.
The Anglepoise + Paul Smith Edition Four collection includes a Type 75 Mini Desk Lamp, a Type 75 Desk Lamp, and a Type 75 Floor Lamp. The lamps are available for pre-order now with delivery beginning on September 9th.
