A Plantable Light Fixture by Ryan Taylor for Object/Interface
It's not just a pendant light - it's a planter, too.
It’s not Object/Interface’s first foray into plantable light fixtures having launched their Babylon Light in 2016. The Hemisphere Pendant Planter, designed by Ryan Taylor, takes the idea for a new spin with a smaller size and new design.
A six inch diameter dome holds plants on the top with the option of cascading down the sides as it grows. On the flip side is a larger dome with an opal glass diffuser that emits a soft glow. The fixture hangs from a brass stem and features a brass component between the hemispheres.
The Hemisphere Pendant Planter is available for pre-order now at $329 with shipping beginning in April.
