A Modern Lamp That Requires Human Touch to Adjust It
A lamp that aims to bring back the sense of touch as it requires human interaction to dim or brighten it.
Design studio kaschkasch is no stranger to the world of lighting design and now they’re back with a new lamp that requires you to touch it in order to adjust it. Living in an era where everything is digital, it’s easy to forget how important human touch is. bolita comprises a rounded base that houses an LED light on a central axis, and a glass sphere that mimics an eclipse as it’s moved across the surface over the light. Instead of the typical electronic dimming process, bolita skips it for a mechanical one that requires interaction and touch.
