A Modern Farmhouse Playroom Makeover
I was going to start this post with a joke about having you over for a play date today, but then it got all weird when I started thinking about adult play dates and toys…there were just too many ways that my innocent joke was going all sorts of wrong.

So, instead of inviting you over to play, how about I invite you over to check out the finished playroom makeover"!
We started this makeover at the very beginning of January with the installation of this fabulous wallpaper that looks like shiplap! I honestly wasn’t really planning on doing a room makeover, but as soon as the wallpaper was up it looked so farm-housey and cute in here. I wanted to keep the momentum going and give Miss L. a sweet space to play.
We used to have a bulky storage piece that housed all of our craft supplies in this corner. I moved it out and put Miss L’s chalkboard table and turquoise chairs here instead. We used to have this table and chair set in the living room, but moving it here made so much more sense. She uses it more now too, which makes me happy to see!
I moved my favorite triangle art (from Hobby Lobby two years ago) to this corner, which was also just a fun way to use a favorite piece in a new spot. I get tons of questions about this triangle art, and while I can’t source the original, I found a few similar art pieces here and here.
