Maya Pro is an industrial designer based in St. Petersburg. She recently combined two of her loves?the nature of Russia and clean minimalism into a sleek capsule collection of furniture. Birch consists of a cabinet, wardrobe, and floor lamp that are inspired by well, birch. Giving nod to the rhode deciduous trees and shrubs birch family, one of the most widespread tree species in Russia, each piece is a graphic take on the birch pattern. Smooth white exteriors with cutouts mimic the black and white look of their bark.
