It's going to be another exciting festival as the city of Detroit comes alive with design-centric events happening every day during Detroit Month of Design.

Starting next month in the only UNESCO City of Design in the U.S., Detroit Month of Design, powered by Design Core Detroit, will energize the city and bring out the design community with a month-long schedule of exciting talks, workshops, installations, and other featured events. Design Milk is an official media partner of this captivating festival and while we encourage you to check out the program and attend as many as you can, here are five events we?re particularly excited for:

Sneaker House
If you?re a sneaker head, you?ll want to head to the WeWork Detroit to check out the Sneaker House presented by Foot Locker. The showcase highlights the diverse and vibrant sneaker culture of Detroit that influences the city?s music, art, sports, and fashion. There will be four featured installations, as well as dynamic displays and artworks by local creatives.
