A Classic 60s Apartment Reimagined
Situated on the first floor of a 1960s building designed by architect Luigi Cosenza, this apartment originally featured three distinct blocks: the living room, bedroom, and bathroom, all accompanied by large balconies and covered outdoor areas. The living room, characterized by a spacious hall, received an abundance of natural light and was accessible through the main entrance. Transforming Dark Spaces into Inviting Areas
The service zone, once a large and dark block with fragmented rooms, was located at the back of the apartment. Although this block included a sizable loggia typical of the era, it was completely hidden from the rest of the apartment. The bedroom block was preceded by a long, dim corridor, highlighting the need for a reorganization that would integrate external spaces and create continuity within the interior.
