I’m not going to lie ? working on these final two weeks of “Best of Design*Sponge” posts has left me in tears on more than one occasion. And one of those occasions is this recipe right here. Back in 2005 when we started the “In the Kitchen With” column, the recipes and stories we featured were a lot simpler and more focused on home cooks from within the design community. To this day, these are the recipes I hear about most. As much as we love and appreciate the chef-led recipes we’ve gotten to share here over the years, it’s been a joy to get recipes like this one, from designer Lena Corwin, that are family specialities. What I love so much about this Pumpkin Cranberry Bread recipe is that I’ve heard from countless readers since this was posted in 2007 who have made this bread into their family’s tradition.
