Ceramics by Rory Foster

 Rory Foster's dreamy ceramic mugs
I love ceramics. Ever since I first had a go on the wheel at 12 I have been in awe of the whole process, from the raw material coming out of the earth, the process of making and waiting and the finished piece.A lesson in patience.Last week Rory Foster's work popped up on my instagram feed and my heart skipped a beat. Those colours and patterns!!!! A visual delight :)To see more of Rory's work you can follow her via Instagram or via her websiteCeramic Stones by Rory Foster

I start with a shape or line and move from there, always with a desire to create movement. Anything from nature?landscapes, sunsets, insects, and birds?guide my choice of colors. Due to the nature of how I create each piece, they are completely one of a kind?the shape, imperfections, design, and color. Each piece is a result of building on learned skills and trying something new.I absolutely love what I do and am so grateful that I get to share it with the world...
