you can never have too much art!
Art makes me happy! Every time I look at my bedside table filled with favorite things my heart races a bit. That's the magic of living with things that you love?A new favorite is the small painting done by my friend, designer and artist Artie Vanderpool, on an antique envelope. Artie happened to show me several pieces he had just completed and when I saw this piece my heart went "thunk" and it was true love! I asked him if it could be mine... please! As I was fawning over it I thought it would look good on my bedside table next to an antique oil painting I had there, but I had no idea just how perfect these two pieces of art would look together. It's as if they were made for each other. I framed it in an acrylic frame to keep it simple and your focus on the painting. I am excited to host a pop-up shop tomorrow featuring a collection that Artie did which was "inspired" by the colors and energy of the farmhouse and property. Artie has even been to the farmhouse himself! Come back here on the blog or over at Instagram tomorrow, November 11, at 12 noon EST to hear the deets on how you too can become a proud owner of one (or more;) of his paintings!
