The Oracolo Collection from Studio Lievito
A trio of sculptural home altars to bring a sense of multicultural spirituality into one's household.
Combining marble, neon tubes, and mirrors, Studio Lievito has created the Oracolo (Italian for ‘oracle’) Collection, a trio of sculptural home altars. They utilize architectural archetypes typically found in places of worship, like the onion dome, the tabernacle, and pointed arch, to become objects in your home as a way of opening your surroundings to a multicultural spirituality.
The bases are made of Nero Marquina marble with mouth blown neon tubes forming the silhouette. Chrome bifacial mirrors that have been given a galvanic treatment rest in the center to result in an ethereal object one can look to for guidance.
The Oracolo Collection will debut at the Ventura Lambrate design district during Milan Design Week.
