Say Yes To The Dress: Another Day, Another Dress
Another sweater dress.

Another sweater dress.
There are sweater dresses and sweater dresses.
The one I mentioned before is my casual, relaxed go-anywhere style but there are also sweater dresses to dress up. Dresses that are still comfortable and forgiving but sweater dresses with more shape or detail that can work in a far more formal situation.
My first knitted dress was a revelation.
I thought knitted dresses were for other women and I found them somewhat dated and outmoded. I was wrong; they can be seriously fabulous. I invested in a Roksanda last year – more for travel than anywhere else – and found myself wearing it at home more than ever. Crushes are my downfall; when I love something, I love it. Right now I am into dresses so dresses are where my head is. Pants and tailoring will be back, I know that, but I am having a moment for dresses and running with it.
Paris is on my agenda next week and this style of dress will be perfect for meetings and catch-ups. La Maison du Village, our boutique hotel in Saint Remy de Provence, has the sweetest little Diptyque boutique so I am ordering the Christmas selections from their head office. Christmas is a wonderful time in the village with so much atmosphere; I want the boutique to look and feel festive as well as offer Diptyque’s holiday selection.
Packing for Paris is often a challenge, as I don’t like car...
