Marcel Sigel Reimagines a Classic Bentwood Chair for DesignByThem
A stackable outdoor chair that features a bold yet visually light silhouette that references a classic bentwood chair from the 19th century.
DesignByThem has unveiled a new indoor/outdoor stackable chair that’s the work of industrial designer Marcel Sigel. The Soda Chair features a bold yet visually light silhouette that references a classic bentwood chair from the 19th century. The chair is both striking with graphic appeal while at the same time feeling fairly minimalist making it perfect for balconies, patios, cafes, or even indoors.
Powder coated stainless steel tubing curves to create its unique form which frames formed metal mesh that makes up the seat and backrest.
