A Brooklyn Pharmacy You Won?t Mind Waiting in Line at to Get Your ?Scripts.

A pharmacy in Brooklyn that does away with fluorescent lighting in exchange for a soothing aqua and white color scheme.

If you’ve taken any medication in your life, chances are you’ve stood in line at one of those generic drug stores overrun with fluorescent lighting. It’s a dreaded necessity for most of us but luckily Sergio Mannino Studio is turning things around to make the experience more pleasant. The forward-thinking, Brooklyn-based Medly Pharmacy, owned by Marg and Sahaj Patel, are taking the waiting out of acquiring prescriptions by offering a complementary app that alleviates the need to leave the house when you’re sick and removes the wait. They’ve merged their brick-and-mortar store with an online business for a new approach that comes complete with a fresh aqua and white color scheme.
The pharmacy is made up of two rooms ? a waiting room where customers get their meds and a larger space in back where the pharmacists work on filling all the prescriptions.

A custom cement counter is buffed to reveal shades of green, which coincide with the aqua and white floor tiles and aqua perforated wall panels.

The waiting room houses oversized chairs in green vinyl and chrome that pay homage to Japanese designer Shiro Kuramata.
