Two millennia ago the Romans gazed across the Irish Channel from Britannia, to a land they called Hibernia, meaning ?Land of Winter?.  The Irish winters are indeed long, but spring paints vibrant colours on a patch quilt landscape, the setting for Meadow Dance.
