Master Bedroom Makeover Reveal
Hello everyone!
I guess I'm on a "bedroom" kick this week. Thanks for all the sweet comments about my Spring guestroom last Monday. It was a lot of fun being part of a Spring blog tour.
I have made several changes to my master bedroom lately and I wanted to share them with you.
I changed my bedding first. I still have white bedding but this time it's a different kind altogether. Since I have a foot board on my bed, it's always a challenge to make up my bed . It's hard to fit my hands in between the mattress and the foot board to tuck in the sheets. So, when I discovered Beddy's Beds I decided to give it a try. To learn more about them, click HERE.
The bedding slips on your mattress like a fitted sheet. The top sheet is built in and everything zips open and closed like a sleeping bag! It's such a genius invention.
Next, I added this burlap bench with a big pillow on it at the foot of the bed. I like how the wood warms up the space a bit.
Then, I replaced my antique dressers on each side of the bed with matching side tables. They are scalloped metal with wood tops. I also painted my wooden lamps a light grey color to contrast with the wood tops on the table.
And I added this french style tufted chair in here. It matches the one that is used in my sitting room at my secretary.
