This week, after 14 years, we finally had our first ever IRL team retreat. We flew from around the globe to meet and work together at the Hasbrouck House and it was a truly magical two days. I’m still synthesizing pages and pages of ideas, notes and projects we want to get off the ground this year, but what stayed with me the most was just how much connection happened in only two days of seeing each other in person. It’s so easy to get overwhelmed and lose focus when you only work remotely and online. But something about talking and eating and working together over those two days in upstate New York made a world of difference.
We’ll be sharing more next week, but for today I just wanted to thank our team for traveling from near and far to talk, connect, and re-ignite our passion for what we do here. It was so needed and so special and I think it is going to make a big difference in the way we work and post here. Until then, thank you to Hasbrouck House for having us and to Erin for sharing these happy pictures with us. More to come soon. Have a wonderful weekend and I hope you’ll enjoy these links below from our favorite stories around the web this ...
