Humayrah Poppins Embroidery + Best of the Web
Before we head into the weekend, I wanted to share the work of embroidery artist Humayrah
Before we head into the weekend, I wanted to share the work of embroidery artist Humayrah Poppins. Humayrah shared a photo of her work in our #dstexture Instagram challenge and I have been turning to her feed ever since for inspiration. After training at the Royal School Of Needlework, Humayrah opened an Etsy shop and makes incredibly detailed (and beaded) embroidery. She’s been posting bits and pieces from her insect collection lately and they are just too beautiful for words. If you need a little bit of inspiration to get you to the weekend, click here to check out her latest work online. Until Monday, have a wonderful weekend! xo, grace
This Pom Pom Curtain DIY at Oh Joy! is pretty tempting. I’d like to use a plain beige linen and all navy blue poms… I think I have a new dream couch. Thank you, Remodelista.
This London loft’s TV-hiding solution is the chicest thing ever.
The Ace Panama has the greatest green walls. I love a deep green these days. (SFgirlbyBay)
These vintage cane chairs at Design Files are the same ones I grew up with and I have always wanted to get a new set (although I don’t remember them being comfortable. But I do remember the imprint they leave on your legs…).
Ashley Mary’s textured paintings celebrate my favorite color palette: pink + pink + more pink.
Before & After: The Simply Grove Patio Makeover, Bar...
