Flipping through #dslooking on Instagram brings on endless amounts of inspiration for me. Who knew when D*S launched the tag as part of a weekly hashtag challenge it would still be such a gold mine 3 and a half years later" I think what is most impressive about it to me is that every time I look through it, I’m reminded that there are so many ways people express themselves, their creativity and what they find beautiful. This week I followed a rabbit trail that originated on the #dslooking feed and found myself on the profile of @slow_stitch_sophie. Sophie’s ability to make embroidered stitches look like lush, textural fields of flowers is astounding. Her eye for color and form make her stitched artwork come to life. She may not have a website or even a last name to Google but she is absolutely an artist to watch. –Lauren
