Bathroom Upgrades
Hello everyone!
It's finally Friday! I think Friday is my favorite day of the week. We got a lot accomplished this week and I wanted to share some of those things. We have been updating our bathrooms. So, in the half bath, we removed the small pedestal sink that came with our house and replaced it with a vanity from Lowes. It was discounted by over 50% so it fit our budget easily. We wanted something with storage and more counter space. So, this painted black oak vanity with marble countertop and undermount sink gave us just what we were looking for.
This room doesn't have any natural light so it's hard to get a good picture. The cabinet doors have brushed nickel hardware so we installed a matching faucet from Delta on it.
This vanity came as one large piece so we had to remove our door just to get it in the room. Then, my husband had to remove the baseboard behind it so it would fit flush with the wall.
We are very happy with the end result! In our upstairs bathrooms, we had the counters and sinks removed and replaced them with granite and undermount sinks. Here is a snippet of that.
The cabinets were raised so our sink would be higher too. That was a suggestion by the stone company. Because of that, we had to remove the mirrors and replace them with smaller ones. We selected some black distressed framed mirrors for our bathroom. The granite we chose is called Millenium Wh...
