When I tell people I’m a stylist, I usually add “and a bit of an obsessive collector” with only a hint of sarcasm. Maintaining a collection of props while not letting the clutter get the best of you is a tall order, but it’s an order that stylist and designer Arianna Jones fills. She balances ever so gracefully between minimal corners and meaningful collections in her East Dallas, TX rental. Arianna elaborates, “Dating back to my earliest memories, there has been this consistent thread of art, culture, authenticity and community that formed the cornerstone of all my values, and it is important to me that everything I choose to bring into my life and home reflect those values.”
Arianna’s rental was a serendipitous find. She was on the verge of settling for an apartment on the outskirts of the city, a rental that would have compromised much of her wish list. She was on the way to meet a friend for lunch when a wrong turn led to a “for lease” sign in the neighborhood she had been coveting.
