A Colourful Christmas House Tour
Pops of pink (raspberry), gold and green are used throughout this home as a theme for their Christmas decorating.
Maria Killam has designed this home for the holidays in raspberry and yellow with accents of green and I think it is fun, contemporary and perfectly suits this colourful home. Photography is by Tracey Ayton.
Above: Carry your colour theme through to your Christmas wrapping paper for a cohesive lookAbove: don't overdo your decorations on a small table, often "less is best"Above: Work that mantel, it is the perfect spot to go crazy, allowing it to become a main focal pointAbove: You can buy cheap green foliage wreaths and add your own colourful baubles and decorative items, wiring them onto the wreath with florist wire. I am now thinking of adding a few blue baubles to my silver and green wreath which is on my front doorAbove: Wreaths can be any shape, a simple square of foliage gives a different lookAbove: Pink and gold look fantastic together Above: Use fancy colourful ribbons in contrasting colours to tie your presentsAbove: Pretty up a tray with a couple of decorationsPhotography by Tracey Ayton Have a great week and don't get too stressed over Christmas. I have been stressing a little, however this year I am allowing myself to delegate with my son-in-law offering to cook the turkey :).
