This bright and spacious home in Fuller Hill, Vermont, was recently completed by the creative team at Touloukian Touloukian. A winding road leads the way to this contemporary refuge placed in an idyllic natural setting. The four-bedroom residence is a winter vacation retreat, nested on a hill facing north toward the White Mountains.Vernacular materials, such as timber framing, cement fiber siding, sheet metal and board-formed concrete, were reinterpreted to have a modern focus, according to the architects. “Tall windows are strategically placed around interior spaces to provide optimal views out towards the mountain ranges in the distance and provide natural light to key living areas.” A breezy living room sets the tone for a welcoming home.
