Some occasions call for a special pair of PJ’s.
Right now, like the sweats, the PJ’s are important. I do love a PJ. I love their comfort, the look – how they are manly but can be very feminine at the same time. Lingerie, the sexy and silky kind, is all well and good but pyjamas – they must be just right.
I’m fussy when it comes to my sleepwear.
Some wear shortie PJ’s – I like a long leg despite the temperatures and others like a tee shirt and pyjama pants. They forgo the set or buy only the pants; my daughters do that. Me, I like the matching tops and bottoms all year long. Silk pajamas are luxurious but I find them slightly too warm to sleep comfortably, whereas cotton or flannel is just right.
Sentimentally I want these. This tartan made up my childhood uniform for 12 years – 5 days a week, every season and in one style or another, I wore Black Watch tartan. How funny, but I still search it out. Tartan PJ’s are going to be top of my Christmas list this year – my gifts are going to be all about the practical as well as the pleasure of giving smart. The Stewart and The Rob Roy tartans are fabulous but I suspect I’ll end up in Black Watch. Maybe ev...
