Wardrobe classic or I can’t live without"
The slightly oversized blouse, often in a silk or fabric similar, has become my wardrobe classic. I wear this style of blouse so frequently I wonder what I wore before. Recently I have been here, there and everywhere and my carry on luggage has been very simple. 3 loose blouses to wear with jeans, black or neutral coloured pants. I add my three-shoe rule and it is seriously a no-brainer.
I am not talking a man’s style shirt here, although they are certainly a wardrobe classic, but the more floaty style of shirt with room to manoeuvre and a little more glamour. Today, I have the leopard version on and I will wear it over the weekend with my jeans, both blue and white and my black tuxedo style pants.
There are days when we enjoy the thinking and planning of what we wear – the indecision, the trying on and all that goes with this – and then there are many more days when we wish the getting dressed to be fuss-free.
Currently, I seem to have a thing for the tie neck style. Mine are either worn hanging open or tied, depending on how dressy I want to feel.
